Founded in 1715, we hold the distinction of being the longest established family-run practice in the country.

We have offices in Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham and Bellingham. We have a strong private client base and, since partners Toby and Jane Gibson joined in 2003, we offer a niche commercial dispute resolution practice.

Most of this side of our business is London or overseas-based.  We receive a substantial amount of referral work from magic circle firms and regularly find ourselves facing major London law firms in our disputes.
